I met up with my friend in the library downtown.  When I got off the bus at the stop across the street from the library, I was pretty sure I knew which part of the library to start looking for her in.  She is definitely not a creature of habit when it comes to checking out library books.  She reads everything she can get her hands on.  Sometimes she trades books with some of the ladies that work at the bancarrota firm where she works.  Sometimes she seems to read only poetry and sometimes she gets on a roll reading those romance novels, especially when they are trading them around at her job.  It has become hard for her to find one she hasn’t read.  But today when I tracked her down in the library, she was in the how-to section looking for a book on how to make pillows and matching covers for seat cushions.  She has decided she wants to take up sewing and figures that making pillows and matching chair covers will be an easy introduction to sewing.  She also says she needs all the books she can muster up on how to use a sewing machine.
